The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is the law enforcement agency led by the elected sheriff of Jackson County, Oregon. It provides police services to unincorporated portions of Jackson County and contracts police services to the incorporated cities of Prospect, Trail, White City, the Applegate Valley, Wimer, Sams Valley and the Greensprings and Colstein valley.[1] The sheriff is the jailer of Jackson County and operates the Jackson County Jail.
